In this final studio course of the MDes program, students encounter, deconstruct, detangle, and develop novel designs using emerging technologies to impact humans, culture, ethics, the environment, and/or society at large. Individually or in small teams, students engage in semester-long iterative development of a focused, design exploration with intellectual depth, technical rigor, ethical and social justice lens, and design polish. Through a series of progressive milestones of thinking and making, studio work culminates in a final studio exhibition of projects.
